But how to get from Madrid-Airport to
the bus station "AUTORES"?
1) By taxi
2) By public services: first by bus, destination:
Plaza de Colón, to get off in Avenida
de América (ask the bus driver
for this station). Then by underground
Nr. 6 to the station "Conde de Casal"
at only a few stops(see
metro plan).
Transport from Plaza Conde de Casal
metrostation (Madrid) to Salamanca.
From busstation AUTORES on Plaza Conde
de Casal you can take the bus to Salamanca.
The expressbus leaves every our from 06.00
hour (08.00 uur sundays) untill 22.00
hour to Salamanca. Sundays aswell at 23.00
hour.
This fast and comfortable service costs
14,79 euro one way and 25,90 euro for
a return ticket. The busseervice has all
kinds of entertaiment on board.
There is also a regular bus, it takes
a bit longer but is also a bit cheaper
(about six times per day). The costs of
this regular service are 9,89 euro one
way and 13,60 euro for a return ticket.
Traveltime: 2,5 hour(Express), 3 hour(regular
bus).
How to get from Salamanca bus-station
to the meeting-point?
From the bus-station in Salamanca you
can go with a taxi to the first meeting-point.
"Café Carpe Diem", Paseo
de Carmelitas 43. Walking you will need
about 10-15 minutes.
By car: take the motor way via San Sebastian,
Burgos, Valladolid and Tordesillas to
Salamanca.

As the schools aren't alway opened
(during the night or weekends) have
we got a meeting place where students
can call in. (for example: at arrival
on sundays or a delay, etc...) Most
of the times it is a small bar or
a taverne (= the social meetingpoint
in the life of the Spanish) where
the owner will contact the school
inmediately about your arrival.
